This is Smoke and Amber colored, your choice. Phlogopite mica. It is translucent which makes light able to be filtered through. It has high heat resistance which makes it ideal for use in open flame and stove applications. It is also ideal for kiln use.
Lump enamel can be fired onto mica to make a small sphere of glass.
Enamel can be kiln-fired directly on mica without rack or trivet.

These sheets have the thickness of cardstock.
These can also be used as a heat resistant surface as with incense.
